Archival Prints
Many of my images are available as archival art prints. You can purchase prints online through the Galleries on this web site.
Limited Edition prints are offered in a variety of sizes but limited to a specified number of prints. After the designated number of prints of an image have been created, no more original prints of that image will be produced. Other uses (eg. editorial, educational or commercial use for advertising) may occur.
Limited Edition Prints are printed with archival pigment inks on an acid-free, archival paper appropriate for the image and size; Somerset Velvet, Bamboo Fibre, canvas or enhanced matte paper.
Open Edition prints are printed with these same archival pigment inks on acid-free, enhanced matte or bamboo fibre paper.
Prints are not farmed out to a production house. All are personally printed, inspected, numbered and signed by James Cook and include a certificate of authenticity.
Images are printed from a digital master file carefully optimized to match what I envisioned when I created the photograph. Color and contrast will vary from this on-screen presentation.
These prints have a colorfast life expectancy of at least 75 years. The usual precautions should be taken to retain a print's depth of tone and contrast, and it is recommended that a photograph should not be hung in direct, continuous sunlight.
You never have to provide us with your credit card information. Online purchases are processed by PayPal using your credit card or PayPal account. A PayPal account is not required. Orders are confirmed by email, filled as received, and shipped by US Mail. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Each image, whether printed or displayed on this site, is Copyrighted by James Cook and may not be reproduced in any form without express written permission by James Cook, his heirs or assigns. Prints are for display purposes only. They do not bear the copyright mark that appears on each image as displayed on this web site. Each print bears a hand-written title, a series number when appropriate, and and is signed by James Cook
Licensing for Reproduction Rights
All images on this site are protected by US Copyright and may not be downloaded, displayed (other than as purchased art prints as described above) or reproduced without specific written license.
Most of the images on this site are available for reproduction online or in print such as magazines, books or commercial uses. In some cases a complimentary license may be granted. To license reproduction rights to any image, permission must be granted by means of written license. Please Contact James Cook to discuss the intended usage and applicable licensing fees.
